REACH is the Resource, Education and Consultation Hub, a program of The Kootenay Boundary Community Services Co-operative delivered through a partnership with Columbia Basin Trust, a regional corporation created to deliver social, economic and environmental benefits to the residents of the Columbia Basin.
REACH provides relevant and high quality services to develop the capacity of community social services organizations by facilitating access to training opportunities and experienced consultants, and raising awareness of the sector and its value to communities.

Background:
In winter 2009, CBT and the KBCS Co-op formed a three year partnership with the shared goal to strengthen the capacity of community social service agencies to deliver high quality services and contribute to development of communities. REACH was established in 2009 to strengthen these individual organizations and the sector generally, by building capacity and addressing the larger systemic issues that can ultimately help or hinder their missions.
REACH staff work to provide leadership on issues broadly affecting the nonprofit/voluntary sector and through the partnership with CBT, take a proactive approach to strengthening community social service agencies.
